Why Target Pilates Studio?
People I meet often ask what made me open my own Pilates studio, and people who have known me a long time quickly know the answer to that question. Matter-of-fact, one of my early mentors responded to my new adventure by saying “It’s about time. I don’t know why you didn’t do this a long time ago.” What my clients and colleagues know is that I’m passionate about helping people change their bodies and I’m good at it. Anyone who is looking to change their body for the better – get stronger, increase flexibility, improve alignment, achieve balance in every way, and just get healthier – has a home to transform in my studio. I have educated myself around learning a myriad of ways to help people with their bodies, and as a perfectionist my JOY is in every moment I’m with a client. I plan out every session before it starts, and as the training unfolds I am constantly modifying and changing to meet the needs of the body in front of me. As my client, you have my constant attention. You’re still on my mind after you are gone, as I think about how you are experiencing the effects of your workout and what I can do to build on today’s session for next time. Creating Target Pilates Studio has given me a space to do what I love best. Every inch of the studio was designed by me to be welcoming, productive, and client-centered. Who doesn’t want that kind of attention?
To let people get more of taste of what’s going on within the studio, you can look for the following things to pop up on the website and blog over the next few months:
- A video tour and photo album of the studio.
- Interviews with current clients so you can hear first-hand what it’s like to train at Target Pilates.
- Short audio clips leading you through the Target Point fitness tips
- 15 minute mini-Pilates classes in audio and video formats – in case you can’t make it to our studio.
